What can I say about Jared Sislin that his work doesn't already speak for? Well to start, my wife and I got married in May 2016 in Southern California as a destination wedding as we are from Texas. We came across Jared Sislin Photography via a website. At first, we actually contemplated not even having a photographer due to already being over budget for the wedding. Nevertheless, we decided to go thru with his services, taking a chance as we did not even know his work at the time. What a good decision that was! From about a couple of weeks before the wedding until now, Jared has been amazing, not only with his photography skills, but also was great with the planning process, the execution of his services and the delivery of his product. As far as his skills, you only have to take one look at his work and see that this young man is very very talented and will not disappoint you.

I couldn't be happier with the wedding photos that Jared took. To be honest, I didn't give Jared much direction. I just told him that I didn't want my photos to be cheesy and look like everyone else's. He arrived at the venue earlier than scheduled, simply to take the time to extensively scout the location and come up with ideas specific to where we would be shooting. The results were exactly what I wanted. The posed photos have a candid element to them that looks like he was just simply capturing a moment that was naturally occurring. The photos of the ceremony were elegant and the images taken during the reception help me relive the moment. Jared has been my photographer for a number of years. He has a great attitude, is energetic and passionate about what he does. He is as skilled and versed as any photographer I've seen. You will not meet a friendlier, more outgoing, or easy to get along with person. His success at a young age is a testament to his passion and work ethic.
I have used his services for personal family photos, maternity photos, and specialized action sport photos. My experience is that he comes prepared with great ideas, and is open to listening to his client's ideas as well. He isn't a snob about his work but holds very high standards for himself at the same time.
Jared is extremely patient and good with kids. I have three kids under 8. We have tried other photographers, but none have been close to the experience and results we've had with Jared. Kids love him. His personality and energy help to bring out the best in our kids and it shows in the photos.
Jared is also an athlete, which gives him a unique skill-set that many other photographers simply don't have. I have an 8 foot canvass print of a Tahitian landscape taken from inside the barrel of a wave half a mile out to sea. He literally put his life on the line to get this shot.
I have used him for professional portraits, photos of my business, and product photography. He has helped my business get published in four magazines and multiple websites.

It's hard to describe someone so wonderful and talented. Please do not think twice about hiring him! Jared is absolutely amazing! On top of being the nicest and most considerate person, he's also loaded with jaw-dropping talent. He captured the vision and mood of our wedding perfectly. We love so many of our wedding photos; we don't have enough wall space to hang them all!
Throughout the day, he offered us a variety of venues, poses, and looks, and he was open for any specific shots we might like. I was first drawn to hire Jared as photographer because the pictures on his website were absolutely beautiful and he didn't disappoint when it came to my wedding. From the very first interaction he was super responsive and professional. As my wedding date approached he touched base with me to make sure he had all the time and location details. He showed up to my wedding venue extra early and took the care and time to scout out the perfect places to take photos. He was so easy and fun to work with! I can't stress that enough. Jared was so kind to my guests, offering to take pics with my guest's cell phones and cameras and he always seemed to be in the right place at the right time to get the best candid shots! Jared's passion and love for what he does totally shined through as he would get excited over the incredible shots he took and would even give us sneak peaks on his camera. Jared took the care to make sure I got all the shots that I wanted and that I actually was satisfied with them. I didn't have to stress at all that he was getting good shots and I felt as though he sincerely cared about making my day perfect. Plus he got all the pictures I wanted done really quickly so we stayed on schedule. The same night and the next few days after the wedding Jared texted me a few photos as a sneak peek which I truly appreciated and only helped to affirm my choice in hiring him. I was able to have a few incredibly beautiful photos to show off until they all arrived about a week after the wedding. Jared's rate was super reasonable and I felt like I got much more than what he was charging for. Honestly the photography was probably the only service/vendor at my wedding that I was 110% happy with. Jared, thank you for such a wonderful job and making our big day so memorable!

I really appreciate Jared's passion in photography. After our wedding, he suggested us to walk around in the harbor to take more photos for us, although it was not a requirement in our contract.
He is also very responsible and efficient. He worked with us until very late that night, I was surprised that he was able to send us some edited photos the next morning.

Where to start... From the beginning. Jared was recommended to me for our wedding by another photographer, one I had originally tried to book, and p.s. I'm SO glad he was booked. We planned our wedding remotely, from Sacramento, and Jared was so easy to communicate with. He was kind, professional and quick to respond. He contacted me periodically over the months to check in. We talked about what kind of images my husband and I had in mind and what kind of timeline we would be on. He touched base with me the day before to confirm times and addresses. Jared showed up right on time on wedding day. He captured almost every image we asked for and some he had in mind that just blew us away. We received all 1700 or so our photos within 30 days. In short, he killed it. We plan to print some of them to put together albums for family members, the albums are going to be HUGE. We cannot decide on what photos we love the most. I honestly don't even know where to begin. Jared was a dream to work with!!! My husband and I got married in March 2018 - we started all of the planning around the August timeframe and locked in Jared right away. I kept changing my day of timeline for him to get there earlier and earlier because what girl doesn't want more professional pictures on her big day?! Jared was very flexible and accommodating and didn't stray from the contract price which I was totally expecting with all the changes.
On our day, Jared was everywhere he needed to be. I never once thought, 'it would be great if Jared was capturing this moment' because he always was. My hubby and I even stepped away for a moment to take it all in and there Jared was, ready to get some night shots of us out on the boat deck - which are some of my favorite pictures from the day!!!
Jared sent us an enormous amount of photos and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out!!! He also sent them about 3 weeks after the wedding - talk about service!! I would recommend him to anyone and I know we'll definitely use him again!

Jared is a FANTASTIC photographer! He shot our wedding a month ago in Dana Point and took some breathtaking shots! He was able to fit in a lot in a short amount of time and get all the key photos. It was important for us to have an ace photographer since our wedding was documented for a new TLC wedding show and they wanted permission to use some of our photos. Jared completely knocked it out of the park! He even arranged for a night shoot using a backlight and those were some of the most spectacular shots. He's incredibly professional, kind and affordable and goes above and beyond to capture every significant movement, moment and memory without any distractions to the guests. Jared was communicative, friendly, enthusiastic and easy to work with, but best of all, his photos are amazing. When he sent us a dozen or so photos as a teaser preview just 2 days after the wedding, ours jaws dropped. These were magazine-shoot quality photos.
My sister-in-law is a lead professor in graphic design at a top ranked technical university but is also very well versed in photography and has a critical eye and she commented on a couple of photos on Facebook saying "you had an awesome photographer" (she was unable to attend the wedding). That's a real compliment!

We met Jared for the first time at an event where many of the vendors that Electra recommends are present. Out of all of the photographers, my husband and I liked Jared the best and we both agreed to hire him. His work and attention to details on his pictures was what we fell in love with. He was exactly what we were looking for, someone who could capture the family shots, but also someone that can show the artistic side. Not only that, but he was extremely personable and easy to talk to. We booked him immediately that day.
A few weeks before our wedding I began contacting Jared and he willingly accepted a shot list and offered recommendations of great shots that he was familiar with since he had taken pictures on our yacht before. He kept in constant contact with me and even helped calm my nerves when I was worried about rain on our wedding day (luckily it didn't happen).
On our wedding day of April 7, 2018, he arrived earlier than expected and made sure to capture as many pictures as possible before the wedding to maximum our time during our wedding reception. Throughout the wedding even though he was by himself he was everywhere. He captured every part of our wedding ceremony and reception. He was able to capture even details that I couldn't see as the bride. After our wedding he even stayed after with my husband and I to capture some beautiful pictures on the surrounding areas of the harbor. We never felt rushed or like we were bothering him with all of our requests.
I am so grateful that we found Jared and would definitely recommend him to everyone. He was extremely professional, affordable, and easy to get along with. He even sent us a few sample pictures the next day so I could share them to my friends and family on Facebook. Also, he had an extremely quick turn around in getting my pictures to me. The pictures that he took were absolutely stunning! I cannot thank him enough for capturing our special day!!
